JORDAN TOURS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Tour departing days: every day of the week. We open tours starting with 2 participants.
• All passport holders must cross the Jordanian border with the passport they submitted in the registration (to avoid paying double for visa)
• passport must have at least 4 months before expiration date
• Tourists holding a working, student or volunteer visa must get a special permission to leave Israel from the ministry of interior.
• Israeli passport holders must cross the Israeli border with their Israeli passport.
• Pickup: on weekdays at 06:30 ~ 07:00, on weekend at 07:15~ 07:45/ return at approx. 18:00 ~ 19:00. Tour includes transfer from border to Eilat hotel/bus station etc.
• The tour is guided by English speaking guide. Additional languages are available with coordination in advance – require supplement payment.
• What to bring: passport, warm clothes (Petra is at 800 m’ above sea level). Comfortable shoes for walking, cash money for taxes.
• Do not bring cameras with Telephoto lenses, camera drones etc. – the Jordanian border control will not allow entering them to Jordan from security reasons
• Also, Judaica and Jewish related artifacts (such as yarmulke, Siddur, tefillin etc.) are not allowed – please consult with our office first to avoid any discomfort.

Optional extra night in Wadi Rum– Guests wishing to spend an additional night in Wadi Rum at the end of the tour choose among a regular Wadi Rum camp, 4* camp or a luxury one. We collect the following morning for the return drive to Eilat.

Aqaba overnight options for the night before the Petra tour:

We encourage visitors to Petra to spend an additional night in Aqaba before their tour. Apart from the $60 savings at Petra, people staying two nights also get the $60 visa for free. On top of that hotels in Aqaba are cheaper than those in Eilat and the later morning pickup times mean guests get to enjoy breakfast in their hotel before the tour begins.

People who choose to spend a night in Aqaba before their tour will receive transportation right to their hotel, including help crossing the border.
