Dead Sea, Masada & Jerusalem from Eilat

This tour covers all four quarters of Old Jerusalem, The Jewish, Christian, Armenian and Moslem quarters and the Old Cities major religious and historic sites.
We set off early for Jerusalem along the scenic Great Rift Valley and stop for a quick break at the foot of the Masada cliff and can enjoy here a quick dip in the waters of the Dead Sea. We reach Jerusalem mid morning and enter Jerusalem’s city walls in the Jewish quarter our tour takes us to: the Western Wall, The Temple Mount, the golden Dome of The Rock, the Arabian Market. We walk the Way of the Cross, from start to finish, through the Arab quarter to the Christian quarter and end the route at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher where the final 5 stations and the The hill of Calvary and Tomb of Jesus are found. From here we walk towards the Armenian quarter and pass the Citadel – (The tower of David), we stroll back through the Jewish quarter and back to our vehicle. After a short visit to the Garden of Gethsemane we continue on to the summit of the Mount of Olives to Enjoy the setting sun over Jerusalem. From Here we begin our journey arriving in Eilat or Taba, Sinai, Aqaba, Jordan borders by evening.

1 day Dead Sea & Masada from Eilat
We begin early Eilat and make our way to the Dead sea and the famous Ein Gedi oasis. Here we enjoy a walk to the largest waterfall in the nature reserve and visit its best-known sites. From here we drive to the world-famous fortress of King Herod – Masada. Masada is spectacularly positioned on the top of the dramatic cliffs on the edge of the Dead Sea. We ascend the mountain by cable care on a 15-minute ride to the summit. ‘The Messengers Path’ is available for people who wish to make the hike up. We explore this remarkable site, taking in its incredible history and spectacular views. After touring Masada, we head down to the lowest place on earth at the shores of the Dead Sea. We a take a dip in the unique waters and try the famous Dead sea mud. late afternoon driving to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.

Jerusalem to Eilat via Dead Sea Masada and the Timna valley – The oldest copper mines in the world, located in the southern Negev near Eilat.
Jerusalem to Eilat via the Dead sea and craters of the Negev, the ‘Ramon Crater’ or the ‘Small Crater’, which includes off-road 4×4 adventure in the desert at a supplement of $140 in total for the tour.

Two day tour Jerusalem, Dead Sea, Masada from Jerusalem or Eilat
Two day Jerusalem tour that takes in Israel’s most renowned sites, Masada, Dead Sea, Bethlehem and a completely full day of touring in Jerusalem’s Old City.

Day one: We journey through the Great Rift Valley to the Dead Sea where we visit the famous site of Masada. We ascend Masada by cable car and tour it’s impressive ruins and taking in it’s incredible views of the Dead Sea and Jordan. We go down to the shores of the Dead Sea where we can enjoy the Dead Sea mud and bathe in the salty waters. From here we head to Bethlehem where we take a short tour and visit the Church of the Nativity. We leave Bethlehem for Jerusalem and check-in to our hotel (night tour of Jerusalem available).

Day Two: From Here we drive up to the city wall and enter the Old City in the Jewish quarter. We visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock. We pass through the Arab Souq in the Arab quarter and begin following the Stations of the Cross as we stroll the alleyways of the Way of the Cross from the Moslem Quarter through to the Christian Quarter and to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. He we see the final five stations, the Hill of Calvary and the tomb of Jesus. We continue towards to the Armenian quarter and beside the Jaffa gate we visit another of Jerusalem’s most renowned sites, the Tower of David (Citadel of Jerusalem). We tour the ruins enjoying the views over the Old City and take a short visit to the museum. From Here we head to the Room of the Last Supper and via Zion’s gate walk back to the Jewish quarter to complete our tour of the Old city. From Here we visit the garden of Gethsemane and on to the Mount of Olives to enjoy the sunset over Jerusalem. We leave Jerusalem behind us and begin our journey south and back to Eilat for tour completion.

Half-day sunset jeep tour in Eilat – daily
This highly popular 4 hour desert jeep tour runs daily from Eilat and explores the changing scenery of the Negev desert as day turns into night. Using open-topped jeeps for the full outdoor experience we cover some of the finest scenery in the Negev Desert. Beginning in Eilat the tour goes off road into the Eilat Mountains and follows dramatic jeep trails that take in the highlights of the desert surrounding Eilat. During the jeep tour we visit many of the best known sights such as the Flamingo Pools, the Doum Palms, the Evrona spring, Wadi Raham and the Statues Valley. As the sun goes down the desert comes to life and on this tour we look out for the nocturnal wildlife including gazelles, Ibexes, wolves and hyenas.
